Multi-chamber Silencer Composed of Screw-perforated Tubes and Straight-perforated Tubes

چکیده

The use of silencers to reduce noise is mandatory due severe hearing damage caused by high venting in the engine room ocean-going vessels. While straight and perforated tubes have been used as acoustical elements traditional silencer design, studies shown that design still requires improvement. To enhance efficiency, multi-chamber mufflers proposed composed screw tubes. Additionally, a mathematical finite element model built for simulation using COMSOL program expedites analysis with complicated elements. A sensitivity transmission loss concerning geometric factors two-chamber three-chamber conducted investigate relationship between sound shape. results demonstrate performs well reducing noise.
